Pioneer Press | 10/31/2002 | LAURA BILLINGS: Partisanship at memorial came as no surprise
This makes a lot of sense to me. Absolutely. And I'd imagine it'd happen if it had been anyone else as well, especially including people from other parties. (And encouraged the passion that Sen. Wellstone did.)

TiVo, We Hardly Knew Ye - Sorry fans, but it's destined for the ash heap of history. By Brendan I. Koerner
Actually, there is some reason to believe this -- especially when the next-generation of cable and satellite boxes include DVR technology.
While I've been very happy with TiVo as a company -- it's been fantastic for making the most of my television -- it's the technology that I'd like to see survive, and what is most important. Obviously, it'll have to continue to improve, as we get more digital and high definition television in the next few years.
I found it amusing that the article ended with an advertisement for a TiVo, but it could be worse, at least it was a TiVo and not an Ultimate TV...

More Alias fun for me to investigate someday. (Have I mentioned this week how frustrating I find it that Alias and Angel are on at the same time? Ok, good.)
