If you miss Deja's web-based access to news, Mailgate looks like it has some. I haven't looked at it yet, but wanted to save it for later.

Telos Publishing announced at Gallifrey One that they are going to do a high-end publication of Doctor Who Novellas. At the price point they're talking about, they better have Excellent authors, and not the ones that we can read at a quarter of the price.

MP3.com has a new Marillion track and it is fantastic.

I just got back from Gallifrey One in LA. It was amazing. I'll have a more complete write up somewhere in the not too distant future, once I get pictures developed.

Whoops. I put the wrong URL for the Worst Movie of 2000 Poll on the MISFITS site.

I just posted my Top five and least favorite films of 2000, along with a bunch of others. There's also a poll on that page to vote for your favorite and least favorite as well!

The Buck Rogers Home Page --- hahahahaha!

I watched this regularly when I was eight, nine, and ten years old. This is one of those series that I'm really scared to see it today.

Classics Recovered?

This is actually pretty cool. Amazing what technology might be able to do these days, if they really can recover these documents.

oh.... while I think of it. Last night's Buffy the Vampire Slayer was fantastic. It put me in very much the right mood for today. Angel wasn't bad either.

Comics Newsarama has more on the new X-Men teams that start up this May. I'm looking forward to picking up the mainstream X-books for the first time in over a decade. I approve of the line ups as well.

Today is Peter Gabriel's 51st Birthday. He's one of my favorite artists, responsible for several of my favorite albums, such as So, which I've probably listened to at least one track, and probably the whole album, at least once a month since I first got it when I was in 10th grade. It's definitely one of my all time favorites. And his greatest hits album contains Solsbury Hill, which ranked at the top of the list when I ranked songs that I liked a couple of months ago, so it's definitely a favorite.

Well, it's been a while since I've done a real update. Not that anyone reads this, but I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing this for me. :)

Found Lance Parkin's new Doctor Who novel Father Time -- I was going to start reading it tonight, but got sucked into doing a lot of e-mail. I also listened to the first of the Paul McGann led Doctor Who audios, and enjoyed it a great deal.

I'm sick of winter now, it can end. I hate February.

Well, time to go to sleep.

CNN has an interesting article about the head of the Sci-Fi channel

I don't watch much of their programming, but I think that it is interesting how they've been able to get some of their shows more on a fans' radar screen (like Farscape) over the last couple of years, and I think the original programming track is really good idea, long term, even though I haven't watched much of it.

The MISFITS site has a Black Scorpion review by Mike Fanslow, and I reviewed Ultraviolet
last year for other Sci-Fi programming.
