Peace activism: a matter of language / Anti-war patriots find they need to reclaim words, symbols, even U.S. flag from conservatives
I think this is really quite important. I like my country, even when they do things I don't like. In fact, I recognize that in a democracy or a republic that there are going to be things that the government does that I don't like.
And I really despise the hard-right conservative abuse of patriotism and nationalism.
