Looks like this may be useful if you want to make VCDs. I haven't tried anything like that, but at some point, I imagine..

LEGO Ultimate Collector Star Destroyer
Oh my.

TVShowsOnDVD.com
If you, like me, are a big fan of TV shows (both classic and current) being released on DVD.

(Some of the shows I want to see on DVD in Region 1 that haven't already started here: Alias, Angel, Blake's 7, Cupid, Futurama, and others as well...)

The Betamax
How many times can you purchase Goldfinger?

For me, of course, it's the original Star Wars trilogy that I've purchased a zillion times. And, as always, the version I most want to buy is THE ORIGINAL, NOT-VERY-SPECIAL EDITION on DVD.

Though, of course, I'll buy the special edition as well. I'm sad like that.

Digital Divide (09/06/2002)
An interesting article about the battles of the technology industry vs the entertainment industry.

My biggest concern is that we'll get some sort of crippled technology and then not be able to get the entertainment items -- I hate region encoding on DVDs, for example.

SAVE FARSCAPE!
The Sci-Fi channel has decided not to continue with their series -- one that I've really come to enjoy a lot over the last year. I don't want the series to end with a cliffhanger, which seems likely!
